Stockport Local Plan Petition

The Liberal Democrats failure to implement a local plan to protect our green spaces and provide much needed social and affordable housing for the people of Stockport is leading to misery for both home-owners and displaced families alike. Dan Farley, the Labour Party candidate for Cheadle West and Gatley, is calling on the Liberal Democrat run council to work with the Labour Group to present a realistic plan that will build the housing we need fairly across the borough, ensuring that the 6,000 families currently on the waiting list for rehousing can be accommodated and home owners can know that their urban green space can be protected.
